ST. GEORGE – A female was taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center by ambulance after an altercation with another female that left her with a stab wound late last night.
 
Officer Johnny Heppler said officers responded to the area of 400 East Sunland around 11:30 p.m. last night over a domestic dispute. Two adult females began arguing and one allegedly stabbed the other with a kitchen knife. The female was arrested and transported to Purgatory.
 
Heppler said there were others in the home at the time of the altercation and one of the females may have lived at the residence. He said alcohol was a factor.
