Dixie State College

ST. GEORGE – The Dixie State College women’s basketball team moved up seven spots to No. 13 in the Week 9 version of the USA TODAY ESPN Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll.

Despite being idle last week, the Red Storm catapulted to #13 in this weeks poll. Dixie State has resume building wins over #12 Grand Canyon and then #5 (#20 now) Seattle Pacific.  This marks the highest Dixie State has ever been ranked in school history.

Dixie State (12-1, 2-0 PacWest) picked up a 76-50 win over Academy of Art last night on their three game road swing to the San Francisco Bay Area.  They have two more games, at Dominican on Thursday evening and Notre Dame de Namur on Saturday afternoon.
