Relationship Behaviors Explored at Tuesday’s Dixie Forum

ST. GEORGE – Dixie State College of Utah’s weekly noontime “Dixie Forum: A Window on the World” series continues this Tuesday, March 29, featuring a presentation by on relationship behaviors and patterns by DSC Professor of Psychology Dr. Dannelle Larsen-Rife. The Forum will begin at 12 noon, in the Dunford Auditorium of the Browning Resource Center on the DSC campus. Admission is free for all community members, DSC students, and faculty and staff.


Dr. Larsen-Rife’s presentation, entitled “The Development of Relationship Behaviors Over 10 Years: Family, Friends and Romantic Partners,” will explain her research findings in the development of close relationships across a lifetime. She earned her Ph.D. in Human Development from the University of California, Davis, and is currently an Infant Family Mental Health Fellow at the University or Massachusetts, Boston.

The Dixie Forum series will continue each Tuesday at 12 noon through the rest of the spring semester. Upcoming guest speakers include DSC Dean of Arts and Letters Dr. Don Hinton, who will share his findings in his presentation entitled “Updates to a Communication Perspective: Redefining the ‘Gender-ation Gap’ … or Are Men and Women Really Worlds Apart?,” on April 5th.
