SPRINGDALE – Officers arrested a 22-year-old Glendale man at gunpoint in the Springdale area over the weekend.
Springdale Chief Kurt Wright said an officer clocked a driver on a bullet bike going over 80 mph in a 40 mph zone in Rockville. The officer said he attempted to pull the driver over and chased the driver for three miles before the man stopped.
Wright said there was bumper-to-bumper traffic and as other vehicles pulled over for the officer, the motorcycle driver was “zig zagging in and out of them.”
The man was charged with speeding and evading police, a 3rd degree felony.
