TOQUERVILLE – A Werner semi heading northbound veered off the road a bit on I-15 this morning near mile marker 27, causing its trailer to tip over.
“The semi was not compromised,” said Amy Fallows, public information officer for the Utah Highway Patrol.
Fallows said the accident is blocking the right lane, a tow truck is on scene, and responders have been working since the call came in at 9:46 a.m. to get the trailer upright. “It’s taking so long because the trailer is so full,” she said.
No persons are injured and no chargeable offense by the driver is expected. Patrolmen on scene are working to clear the accident and will investigate.
