Washington City man arrested for sexual abuse of a child

WASHINGTON CITY – On Monday, November 21, 2011,  Kevin Lee Davis, age 60 of Washington, Utah was arrested and booked into the Washington County jail on five counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child under the age of fourteen.

The charges stemmed from an alleged incident which occurred over the course of approximately the last two years in Washington City.

Todd Johnson, public information officer with the Utah Highway Patrol, said Davis was let go by UHP in 2004.

This investigation is ongoing.

* Persons accused are presumed innocent unless found guilty in a court of law.

    Horrible!!! It’s sad that someone who is so keenly aware of the laws can violate someone’s innocence. This case is a guilty because caught situation. Lock him up!!!
