“I am pleased that Brian and Dell have both agreed to serve in my Congressional office,” Stewart said. “Both have unique qualifications and experience that make them well-suited to helping me better serve the people of the 2nd District.”

Stewart appointed his campaign manager, Brian Steed, as chief of staff. Steed, a graduate of the University of Utah and Indiana University, previously worked as an economics professor at the Utah State University Huntsman School of Business. He is also a former Deputy County Attorney for Iron County.

Stewart selected Dell Smith as district director. Smith has worked for the past four years as district director for Rep. Jason Chaffetz. He is retired from the Utah National Guard after 36 years of service, achieving the rank of Command Sergeant Major, the highest enlisted ranking in the organization.

“Brian and Dell will serve as the core components of my staff as we begin to compile an effective team to help meet the District’s needs,” Stewart said. “I am excited to get to work.”
