HURRICANE – The musical adaptation of Victor Hugo’s timeless novel “Les Miserables” has been thrilling and inspiring audiences for over 25 years. Critics have hailed it as one of the best musicals of all time, no less than a certified phenomenon; a marvel of musical theatre. And now you can be a part of this amazing experience.
The Hurricane Valley Theatrical Company is holding auditions for their upcoming production of “Les Miserables.” An open call will be held Aug. 5 from 5-10 p.m. at the Hurricane Fine Arts Center, located at 92 South 100 West in Hurricane. All ages are encouraged to try out.
Auditioning actors/singers should be prepared with a classical musical theatre piece showing vocal range and an upbeat musical theatre piece showing vocal strength. Callbacks will be held Aug. 6 and 7 from 5-8 p.m. at the same location.
