ST. GEORGE – The deaths of a St. George couple, found in their home Monday, appear to have been the result of a murder-suicide, police said in a statement released today.
Police responded to a home in the area of 2000 East and 200 South in St. George, Monday, and discovered Paul and Mary Ann Day dead, and confirmed the use of a firearm in the incident.
“Based on the facts and evidence that have been gathered so far, it appears to have been a murder suicide with Mary being the victim,” Capt. Kyle Whitehead of St. George Police Investigations Division said.
