ST. GEORGE – Two people were arrested by the Washington County Drug Task Force for drug possession and distribution Tuesday.
Gregory Booth, 28, of North Dakota, and Jeanette Alford, 42, of St. George, were arrested as a part of a search warrant executed at a residence on 500 East in St. George. St. George Police Capt. Kyle Whitehead said the task force obtained a warrant for the residence after observing suspect activity at the location. Booth was also one of the people named on the warrant, Whitehead said.
Before the task force served the warrant, Booth and Alford had gotten into a car and left the home. Members of the task force pulled the car over and arrested Booth on a preexisting traffic warrant.
Alford consented to a search of her person and the car as a result of which the alleged narcotics suspected to be methamphetamine were discovered.
The accompanying search of the residence produced a firearm and an additional quantity of suspected methamphetamine that were subsequently connected to Booth, Whitehead said.
Booth was arrested on a second-degree felony weapons charge for the firearm and a second-degree felony charge for drug distribution. His arrest charges also included a class-B misdemeanor connected to a warrant.
Alford was arrested on a third-degree drug paraphernalia charge and a class-B misdemeanor charge for drug paraphernalia.
Persons charged are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law or as otherwise decided by a trier-of-fact.

It is not Booth’s first arrest in Utah. Is he really a resident of North Dakota? He was arrested in Utah in 2004, 2006, assault by prisoner in 2010, May 2013, and again this month.besides the assault by prisoner the arrest are drug related. Not the first run in with the WDTF.
Well takes one to know one, right? How would you know so much if you weren’t associated with obvious known offender, it would be nice if people wouldn’t beat around the bush and just say what they mean, anyway would do you mean, maybe I just got to be high to get it, get it? No, me neither.

When I read the article it made me think that this a bust that involved two states. But I look at the bookings and I recognizzed him.so I went to Utah’s right to know and put his name in on the charges page and I wondered if he was a resident of north Dakota or really a utahn because of his criminal activity here. My fascinatiin its not drug dealers its with the law and how it can be manipulated. Thats why i took some law classes and got la lttle. degree.anyone can go on utahsrighttoknow and look up divorces. and charges in Utah since 1997. I enjoy researching 🙂
Also, without knowing this info the readers of the article might believe the WDTF got themselves a new drug dealer But in fact this guy was previously arrested by the WDTF, with a case still pending…so he was already on their radar. And its the North Dakota that I remember seeing in the bookings along with his photo. So the article should have included that this is not the first arrest of this north Dakota.man. now that would be a journalist that did their homework…

Good job drug task force. Now fry the bigger fish. Like the big drug dealers known as the govts of the western world. You heard that correct. The govt runs all the drugs and weapons on a far worse scale and they’ll stop it nothing. They kill and lie their way to the end.

Honestly I think the police did this arrest perfectly. No one got hurt. A warrant was issued,. The items listed in the warrant were found ect. I like how they waited until they left the home to arrest them. They might have prevented a standoff or some other form of could’ve would’ve should-not have. Southern Utah drug interdiction has come a long way in the last 10 years. I used to see people charged with such charges as: Attempt to posses with intent to distribute, or in laymans terms” They tried to buy enough to sell”. Then of course there was the formerly ubiquitous charge of 3rd degree internal possession for giving a dirty UA.
Chew on this one; I was once charged with Failure to pay a Drug Stamp Tax on my bag of contra-goodies. That was back in 1997.
So what Im trying to say, Truthseeker is dont get upset and feel like your fight’n your battles all alone. i’ve still got my good eye on these cases. What do ya say Truthseeker? Lets be Batman and Robin…which one are you?
There are some people in Hebron north Dakota that get way with drug use because the let them know people driving home when Come out of bars can’t walk they drive law said he didn’t do anything wrong sell drugs for drug for years but it’s who you are in this town
