On July 1, 1972 Marie married Foy Ardell Seegmiller in the St. George LDS Temple.  They had 41 wonderful years together in Henderson, Nevada during which they served two missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  The first one was in Kenya, Africa and the second was in Rajahmundry, India.

Marie loved her family and her church.  She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She held positions in Relief Society and Primary but with six sons she was most active in Scouting.  After their missions, Marie and Foy served together as Ward Missionaries and in the Family History Center.  She enjoyed working in her flower garden, crocheting, and tying quilts. Marie was a faithful journal writer all of her life.  She and Foy loved to camp and fish together and with other friends and family.

She is survived by her husband, Foy Ardell Seegmiller currently living in St. George, Utah;  by  children–Roger (Debbie) Peeples, Daniel (Sandra) Peeples, Riley (Rachel)Peeples, Jenny (Randy) Cote, John (Eileen) Peeples, (Annette) Peeples, (Michelle) Peeples, Susan (James) Ward; and by stepchildren–Carol (Truman) Leishman, Myron (Marie) Seegmiller, Marilyn (Larry) McLay, and Donna (Gary) Neibaur.  She is preceded in death by two sons, Nathan and Andrew Peeples, a granddaughter, Marie Ward, and a grandson, Aaron Jackson Peeples.
