Celia Chambers, 71, passed away October 27, 2014, of a long battle with lung cancer. She was born September 8, 1943, in Ogden, Utah, to Helen and Donald Chambers.

Celia was loved by all and made friends, quickly, especially through her job of dispatching loads for her sister Janey’s 18-wheeler trucking business, Rack’s Express. She had a talent of talking people through tough times. Celia was full of life and welcomed anyone who came through her door. She has always been a good example of maintaining a very close relationship with her sisters and brothers who will greatly miss her.

Celia fought a great, courageous battle and was admired by all for her wonderful attitude throughout this past year.

We, as a family, would like to thank Dixie Hospice for all their kind words, love and service.

Celia is survived by her son, Chanlee (Vicki) Hall; daughter, Leslie (Todd) Truman; five grandchildren: James Douglas Hall, Alivia Hall, Truce (Carli) Truman, Shanley (Mitch) Melessa, and Boden Truman; two great-grandsons: Mack and Turk; her three sisters; a sister-in-law; and two brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving brother, Douglas Chambers.

Although I never met Celia, we worked together over the phone and e mail for the last 3 years. She was one of my favorite people to talk to, so sweet and polite. I will miss our little chats. May she rest in peace. My thoughts are with her family at this time. xoxoxo

My heart is broken for Janey. Celia was so full of life and such an amazing person. Everyone who got to know her loved her. Walking into a room Celia always had a smile and I could always hear her smile thru the phone. I’m so so so sorry for the loss of such an amazing woman!! Much love, Steph
