The man pictured is described as being in his mid-50s with brown hair  balding on top  and a stocky build. He has been frequenting Western Union and MoneyGram locations in Southern Utah over the past few months, according to a press release from the St. George Police Department.

“He has been receiving multiple wire transfers in cash using multiple different names,” the press release said. “Many of the names belong to victims of identity fraud from all over the United States, particularly in Texas.”

The man has been consistently using an address out of Indianapolis, Indiana; however, investigators believe he may be living in Southern Utah.

“Investigators suspect he is obtaining the information from stolen or skimmed credit cards, wiring money to himself under the victim’s names, and picking up the wire transfers locally,” the statement said.

The man has been driving what appears to be a newer-model white Buick Lacrosse or similar type vehicle.

Anyone who can identify the man or may have information relating to this case is asked to call the St. George Police Department at 435-627-4300.
