ST. GEORGE — TDS Telecom is inviting residents to enjoy a day of food, prizes and entertainment at an open house Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the TDS office in St. George.
The event is a way to show its appreciation for the St. George community and introduce new products, according to a TDS press statement.
In addition to interactive demonstrations, families can enjoy activities for kids and free food; and the chance to win an Apple iPad mini, high-definition flat-screen TV and other prizes.
During the open house, visitors can experience TDS services and test the latest in-home entertainment technology, including Internet speeds and a whole-home digital video recorder solution from TDS called “CatchTV.”
TDS acquired Baja Broadband in 2013 with the intent of bringing more advanced technology to customers. Since then, Baja Broadband and TDS employees have worked side-by-side, improving infrastructure and equipment, according to the company’s press release. The open house is also an opportunity for current and future customers to ask questions and learn more about TDS’s Internet, TV and phone services.
