The 17-9 final was actually a bit of a misleading score as Cedar National actually led 5-0 heading into the fourth inning. Snow Canyon rallied for eight runs in the fourth to take an 8-5 lead, but CN scored two in the bottom of the fourth to make it an 8-7 contest with two innings to play.

The Snow Canyon squad, coached by Gavin Frei, seized control of the game in the fifth, scoring seven more runs to make it 15-7. Braxton Hickman had four RBIs in the game for SC.
