Cornell “Sweeney” Smith, age 49, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015. He was born to Fidel and Effie Smith in Schurz, Nevada.
Sweeney had a carefree, colorful life. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, son and grandfather.
He is survived by his mother, Effie Smith; children, Dorah, 20, Anthony, 18, Cornell Jr., 17, Derek, 15, Shannon, 28 and Boché, 24; grandchildren, Sophia, Isaiah and Dezeray; and siblings, Julie, Leon, Priscilla, JoAnn, Roberta, Pauline, Lori and Farrell.
He is preceded in death by his father, Fidel Smith, and grandmother, Flora Myers.
Funeral Services
