WASHINGTON COUNTY — A power outage has affected over 1,000 Rocky Mountain Power customers in Washington County Wednesday evening.
The power outage is due to a transmission interruption, according to information from Rocky Mountain Power. The outage is affecting customers in Brookside, Central, Enterprise, Veyo, Winchester Hills, Diamond Valley, Dammeron Valley and Gunlock.
Originally, 1,591 customers were without power. As of 9 p.m., that number is down to 1,253.
As this report is published, crews are currently working on-site, and repairs are underway, according to information from Rocky Mountain Power.
Rocky Mountain Power estimates that power will be restored by 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
