We’re at the halfway point of region play and the Dixie Flyers still sit atop Region 9, but Cedar’s upset of the Flyers brings the whole region a bit closer to Dixie heading into tonight’s key matchups.
On today’s Region 9 Hoops show, Andy Griffin looks at the games for tonight, plus we see some highlights from Game 5 and we take a look at the Robert J. Debry & Associates Wednesday’s Heroes.
Plus, we’ve got the Bakston Freight Systems “Pic of the week,” where Griffin chooses his favorite photo from our week of sports photographs. This week, Robert Hoppie’s photo from the Snow Canyon-Desert Hills game is a classic.

Last meeting, SC won 57-51 — Warriors had five treys.
Dixie (4-1) at Pine View (3-2) – 890-AM KDXU
Dixie took a 55-41 win in the first meeting, James Eardley had 15 pts, 11 rebs.
Desert Hills (3-2) at Hurricane (1-4)
DH won it 61-52 last time, Ty Simister had 20 pts.
Oh, and Canyon View has a key Region 12 battle tonight at home against Juab. The Falcons are in first place.
