Volunteers needed to act as flu patients for disaster drills

ST. GEORGE— The Southwest Utah Public Health Department (SWUPHD) is in need of volunteers to act as flu patients for a disaster drill scheduled Thursday at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George and at Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City.

Volunteers at both locations must register in advance for the 2-hour drill. Breakfast will be provided.

Training at each location begins at 8 a.m. the day of the drill, which starts at 10 a.m. and lasts until noon.

All hospital services and parking areas will continue to be available during the drill.
