ST. GEORGE — The Bureau of Land Management St. George Field Office will partner with the public to beautify the area’s public lands on Saturday from 8-11 a.m. BLM and volunteers will work together to clean up illegal dumping and target shooting sites in beautiful Warner Valley.
The project is suitable for children, but those under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Outdoor work gloves are required. Officials also recommend volunteers bring ample water, snacks, sunscreen, hats and layered clothing. Event organizers are also seeking volunteers who are willing to use personal trucks to haul trash.
There will be two clean up locations, including south of Sky Ranch in Hurricane and east of St. George. Maps of the two locations can be found online at the BLM project webpage or JustServe.org.
