WASHINGTON COUNTY — A 42-year-old man has been reported dead after he crashed riding an off-highway vehicle Friday, officials confirmed Sunday.
Just before 11 a.m. Friday, an individual called 911 and reported William Farrar, of Draper, was not breathing after an OHV accident, officials from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said. The incident occurred on Kolob Mountain Ranch Road, about a mile west of Kolob Reservoir.
Farrar was a passenger in a 2014 Polaris Ranger. At the time, it was being driven by a juvenile relative, authorities said.
The driver reportedly lost control of the OHV while driving on an unpaved, private road. The OHV subsequently hit an embankment and rolled, officials said.
Farrar received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The juvenile driver and another juvenile passenger were wearing seat belts, according to authorities, and were not seriously injured.
This report is based on preliminary information provided by law enforcement or other emergency responders and may not contain the full scope of findings.

Better get the young driver and other passengers into therapy now. I can only imagine what kind of weight he must be feeling right now, even if he says he’s ok please get him some form of help. That’s not something he needs to think is his fault. Why wasn’t the 42 yr old adult wearing his seatbelt??? I feel for all the families however they are connected in relation. Best wishes to all…
