Donna and Deanna DuCrest perform at final concert of Hurricane City Concert in the Park series

HURRICANE — The Hurricane Concert in the Park series is down to its final performance of 2016. This last concert will be held on Thursday at 8:00 p.m at Pioneer Park located at 200 N. Main. The concert will feature Donna DuCrest. Donna and her twin sister Deanna were highly sought performers in the 1980’s as the Carter Twins, and were well-known for their smooth vocals and beautiful harmonies.

This concert will be a reunion of sorts as Deanna will join Donna in this concert and they will perform together for the first time in more than 10 years. The singers were raised in St. George and sang regularly at fairs, festivals, art shows, and weddings all over the Southern Utah area.

Their music is easy folk, jazz and blues with acoustic instrumental, and is a mix of covers and original music, and will entertain the whole family. This concert is certain to be memorable, so make sure to set the evening aside and bring family, friends and lawn chairs for a beautiful, relaxing evening in the park.

Concerts are free to the public. Most performances last about an hour. Bring folding chairs or blankets and enjoy a wonderful Southern Utah evening with the family.

This concert wraps up another successful Hurricane Concert in the Park series. This year’s lineup included the Chamberlain Boys, Casey Lofthouse, Azure Sweet and the Chris Steglich Family.
