Enjoy ‘Caroling and Cocoa’ in Kanab

KANAB – People are invited to get into the holiday spirit with weekly “Christmas Caroling and Cocoa” along Center Street in Kanab.

Each Saturday evening between now and Dec. 24 the public is invited to enjoy Christmas carols featuring local music artists, along with servings of free hot cocoa.

The festivities will play out from 5:30-7 p.m. at the ERA Utah Properties parking lot located at 7 W. Center St. in Kanab.

After caroling, folks are invited to try out some of the city’s many great restaurants. Featured restaurants include a variety of delicious choices including handmade pizzas, creative gourmet dishes and hometown treats at the local soda shop.

Centrally located in the Flagstone Boutique Inn & Suites, Peekaboo Canyon Wood Fired Kitchen located at 233 W. Center St. in Kanab. The restaurant offers artisanal pizza from a wood fired oven, along with a full menu of international and locally-inspired dishes, created by Chef Michael Cooper.

The Peekaboo Canyon Wood Fired Kitchen is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. each day.

Visitors may also try the award-winning Sego Restaurant, located at 190 N. 300 West in Kanab.

The Sego Restaurant serves up a selection of new American cuisine with a unique social dining concept. Chef Shon Foster has created a variety of gourmet dishes that need to be tasted and shared.

The restaurant is open from 7-10 a.m., and 5-9 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

There is also the The Soda Fountain inside Kanab Drug at 76 W. Center St. in Kanab.

The Soda Fountain features big scoops of old fashioned ice cream as well as a variety of sandwiches. It is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

    This is absolutely fantastic news as the joyous celebrations of the festive season is upon us what a wonderful way to gather with friends and loved ones in a celebration of the spiritual season. and I would like to thank all those involved in making this possible. Praise the Lord !
