ST. GEORGE — A weekend of classic cars and fun times is drawing closer as “Mesquite Motor Mania” revs up for three days of fun Jan. 13-15, 2017.
Mesquite Gaming, the sponsor of Mesquite Motor Mania, is calling upon Virgin Valley public school students to think creatively and design the perfect poster art for the event.
The winner of the contest will receive a prize pack that includes bowling and a pizza party for 10 people, and the winner’s school will receive $1,000 for their art department.
Only original artwork will be accepted. The size of the submission should be either an 8 1/2-by-11-inch poster or 11-by-17-inch poster.
Submissions should be delivered to Kalae Likua at the Mesquite Gaming offices at 950 W. Mesquite Blvd. no later than Jan. 4, 2017.
Mesquite Motor Mania is one of the year’s most highly anticipated car shows in the area. Free to the public, it will feature over 700 vehicles and thousands of spectators viewing vintage vehicles, street rods and hot rods.
