Ginger Mae Alldredge

April 26, 1970 — Sept. 10, 2017

Ginger Mae Alldredge, 47, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 10. She was born April 26, 1970, in Glendale, California to George Taitano and Victoria Mandujano. She married Thomas Benjamin Alldredge in Corona, California, on Oct. 30, 2002. They and their family were later sealed together in the San Diego Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Nov. 1, 2003. At the time of her death, she was the mother to five children and grandmother to two grandchildren.

Ginger was loving, bubbly, and very outgoing. She loved making people laugh and smile. She had a passion for softball, basketball, Michael Jackson and donuts. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and devoted her life to helping others.

Ginger was a certified paralegal. She was hardworking, and worked various jobs throughout her life. Most recently, she was employed as the Executive Assistant to Dr. Peter Gitau at Dixie State University.

Having suffered with the effects of mental illness herself, Ginger was an advocate for mental health awareness. She served as one of the university’s representatives to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, which provides support and help for those suffering from mental illness. Her impact on the community has been felt, and will continue to be felt by many. She will be dearly missed.

Funeral services

  • A viewing will be held Friday, September 15, in the Diamond Valley LDS Chapel, located at 1784 W. Diamond Valley Drive, St. George, from 6-8 p.m.
  • In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thomas Alldredge at 1215 West Emerald Drive, St. George, Utah 84770.
