ST. GEORGE — The FBI is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of an unidentified suspect who allegedly shot and killed a man earlier this year on the Navajo Nation reservation near Bluff, Utah.

The unknown suspect allegedly killed Antonio Montowine, 31, on the side of County Road 443 or Indian Route 5060, which is 2.5 miles from U.S. Highway 191 in San Juan County on April 14, according to the FBI. The suspect exited a white, newer-model, four-door pickup truck with “4×4” on the side before shooting Montowine, re-entering the vehicle and fleeing the area.

The suspect is described as a medium-build Native American man who is between 5-feet 6-inches and 5-feet 8-inches tall. He weighs between 150 and 170 pounds. His hair is described as being black and gray, short on the sides and faded at the top.

He wore prescription transition lens glasses and a blue-and-brown plaid shirt.

Anybody who recognizes the man from the composite sketch or has any information about the suspect or the murder is asked to contact the FBI’s Salt Lake City Field Office at 801-579-6189.
