Nov. 23, 1950 – July 1, 2018

Richard “Bert” Philip Henderson passed away quietly in his home July 1, 2018. He was born Nov. 23, 1950, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Walter and Louise Henderson.

Bert grew up in Livermore, California, graduating from Livermore High School in 1968. He went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in art education from Humboldt State University in Eureka, California. He enjoyed creating art and was a competent painter and stained glass window maker. He worked at Ace Hardware in St. George until ill health made it necessary for him to cease working.

Bert is survived by his two sons: Tyler Jake Henderson of Eureka, California, and Samuel Robert Henderson of St. George, Utah; his four brothers: Walter James Henderson of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Donald Ray Henderson of Eureka, California, Robert Daniel Henderson of Ceres, California, and Thomas Carroll Henderson of Paradise, California.
