Zion officials advise of delays along Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway

ST. GEORGE — Zion National Park is preparing visitors for traffic delays Sept. 25-27 due to road striping that will occur during different times and locations throughout the park over several days.

Traffic will be held for no more than 15 minutes in the following places and times:

  • Sept. 25, 3-7 p.m., Zion-Mount Carmel Highway, between the East Entrance and the Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel.
  • Sept. 26, 2-6 p.m., Zion-Mount Carmel Highway, between the Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel and Canyon Junction.
  • Sept. 26, 6-8 p.m., Zion-Mount Carmel Highway, between Canyon Junction and the South Entrance.
  • Sept. 27, 9-1 p.m., Kolob Terrace Road, mile 12.5 to 18.3.
