ST. GEORGE – On Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 4-6 p.m, Cara Logan, licensed clinical social worker and readjustment counselor at the St. George Vet Center, has made arrangements to have a local Nidra Yoga practitioner present her craft for those who suffer from the symptomatic chaos brought on by traumatic experience stress disorders.

Nidra Yoga, a noncontortive style of yoga, spins its relief out of relaxation techniques involving music, sounds, guided imagery, and other experiential and sensory methodology.

The practice has proven to be of value to combat veterans, victims of violent crimes and sexual assault, and survivors of catastrophic accidents and catastrophic natural phenomena. The initial session is open to all who are interested in learning whether they can find peace and serenity in this practice and the amount of interest will determine future options and opportunities.

Ed. note: Updated to reflect change in time per the organizers.
