CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — Vista School proudly marks its 15th year of providing exceptional educational experiences to students in Washington County. Founded on the core principle that immersion in the arts and technology enhances a child’s overall academic journey, the school’s charter is dedicated to inspiring student growth.
At Vista School, students are offered diverse opportunities to explore technology through engaging programs such as VEX Robotics, CAD, 3D printing, coding, music production and video production. The arts take center stage through visual arts and musical arts (both vocal and instrumental), as well as drama and dance. Aligned with Utah State Standards, their academic instruction ensures a well-rounded education for students.
One highlight of Vista School is the chance for students to perform in one of Utah’s newest and most sophisticated proscenium theaters. The recently constructed performing arts center, accommodating over 500 audience members, boasts a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, providing an unparalleled theatrical experience for students.
This incredible space affords students the unique opportunity to participate in many performances, including a kindergarten to ninth grade “Nutcracker,” a second to fifth grade junior musical and a sixth to ninth grade musical.
For the past five consecutive years, Vista School has proudly been voted the top charter school in the Best of Southern Utah. This recognition reflects their unwavering commitment to excellence. Their dedicated and passionate staff, who are experts in their field, support students in their academic, technological and artistic pursuits.
